Keep users signed in;

Gio Recipe Converter Mobile Application
Gio Recipe Converter is operated by Gio Culinary Studio and connects to a user’s Gio Culinary Studio account.
Account Connection and Authentication
When a user connects an account, the app processes information needed to authenticate the user and confirm access. This may include:
-
Username;
-
Email address;
-
Account, membership, or subscription status;
-
Device model and operating-system platform; and
-
A revocable application credential.
The application credential is stored using secure storage on the user’s device. The user can disconnect the app to remove its locally stored credential.
Email addresses or telephone numbers may also be used to deliver user-requested login or verification codes.
Recipe Content
Recipe information submitted, converted, or saved through the app may include:
-
Recipe names;
-
Ingredients and measurements;
-
Preparation options;
-
Instructions;
-
Notes;
-
Yield, portion, nutrition, and conversion information;
-
Recipe categories; and
-
Saved or converted recipe records.
This information is transmitted to Gio Culinary Studio’s servers so the app can perform conversions, organize recipes, and synchronize saved content between the app and the user’s account.
Camera, Photos, and Recipe Scanning
Gio Recipe Converter accesses the camera or photo library only when the user chooses to photograph or select a recipe for scanning.
The selected image is securely uploaded to our servers and may be transmitted to an automated recipe-recognition service provider to extract recipe text, ingredients, quantities, and instructions.
The app does not continuously access the camera or photo library. It does not upload other photographs that the user has not selected, and recipe images are not used by Gio Culinary Studio for advertising.
Users may enter recipe information manually without using the camera or photo library.
Files and Sharing
When a user creates a PDF, Word document, or other recipe export, the app may create and temporarily store that file on the device. The file is shared with another person or application only when the user initiates the sharing action.
Once exported or shared outside Gio Recipe Converter, the file is subject to the privacy practices of the location, application, or recipient selected by the user.
Technical and Support Information
The app may process limited technical information such as:
-
Device model and platform;
-
Application version;
-

Our website or app may contain links to third-party websites, applications, payment services, social-media platforms, or other services that are not controlled by Gio Culinary Studio.
This Privacy Policy does not govern information collected by those third parties. Users should review the privacy practices of a third-party service before providing information to it.
