How to Use
These steps are the same on the website, iPhone, and Android.
- 1Scan or enter a recipe
Photograph a recipe, choose an existing image or file, or type the ingredients yourself.
- 2Confirm ingredient matches
A green check means the ingredient is connected to the conversion library. Choose a match when one needs review.
- 3Choose the preparation when needed
Preparation choices such as chopped, minced, or sliced make volume conversions more accurate.
- 4Set portions or resize the recipe
Enter a portion weight to calculate yield, or scale by batch weight, portions, or by the amount of ingredients you have on hand.
- 5Save and use the result
Save the recipe to My Recipes, then export, print, or share it.
Install this app
On iPhone or iPad, Apple requires one quick Home Screen step:
- 1In Safari, tap Share.
- 2Choose Add to Home Screen.
- 3Turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
After that, Chef Gió Recipe Converter opens from its own Home Screen icon like an app.
If the direct Android install prompt is not available, use Chrome's menu:
- 1Tap Chrome's ⋮ menu.
- 2Choose Add to Home screen or Install app.
- 3Confirm Install.
