Students will learn to how to safely, and correctly use outdoor propane/wood, and electric indoor pizza ovens to create amazingly great Italian pizza every time. We will be using all scratch ingredients along with traditional and professional techniques that can be easily duplicated at home. This is 2 1/2 hour class consisting of demonstration and hands-on participation (what does this mean?).
Lessons include:
- Cooking theories for different fuel Pizza Ovens (Wood /Electric/ Propane)
- Choosing the correct flour and ingredients
- Dough mixing and development
- Proper dough fermentation
- Dough Stretching and shaping
- Properly Topping Pizza for high heat cooking
- Launching Pizza Correctly from the Pizza Peel
- Tricks of the Trade
- and much more!
A generous sampling of all the foods prepared in class will be provided, along with salad and other tasty bites.
