Cancellation / Refund Policy: CLASS FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. We will issue a Class Credit with proper notification. If you are unable to attend class, please reply from the Order Confirmation EMAIL you received when reserving the class, this is to ensure we have all the pertinent information and proof of registration in order to issue you a proper credit. If you contact us in any other method, you will simply be refereed to this policy.
DO NOT PURCHASE A SCHEDULED CLASS FOR SOMEONE ELSE UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN THEY ARE ABLE TO ATTENED THE SCHEDULED DATE. WE SUGGEST PURCHASING A GIFT CERTIFICATE INSTEAD. We will not accept cancellation emails from gift recipients, only the class purchaser may request a credit. No-show's will forfeit their credit, no refund will be issued.
Gift Certificates/E-Gift Cards/Class Credits: Class Credits and Gift Certificates/E-Gift Cards can not be returned for a refund and cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer.
Gift Certificates/E-Gift Cards/Class Credits: WILL NOT be reissued, credited, or refunded if lost, misplaced stolen or deleted.
Gift Certificates, E-Gift Cards and Class Credits: WILL NOT be reissued after redemption, please be certain you are able to attend the class that you reserved with a Gift or Class Credit.
Seat availability can not be guaranteed: We are unable to"hold" a class seat without payment/registration. We do not except walk-ins.
Inclement weather cancellations: Classes that are canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled for a later date (or will be moved to a rain location if applicable). If you are unable to make the rescheduled class, you will be issued a credit for the value of the class. We do not issue refunds for classes that are rescheduled due to weather.
Gio Culinary Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class for any reason . We require a minimum number of registrations to hold a class. In the event Gio Culinary Studio cancels or reschedules a class, you will be sent notification to the contact information (email address and phone number) you provided during registration. We will make every effort to contact you a minimum of 2 hours prior to the start of class. We can not be responsible if you neglect to check your messages or have provided us with incorrect contact information. Please acknowledge the receipt of the message in a timely manner. Failure to reply to this email and or voicemail within 12 hrs will be considered equivalent to a no-show and you will forfeit your right to receive a credit for the class, even if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date. If a class is rescheduled by Gio Culinary Studio, your class registration will be transferred to the rescheduled date. If you are not able to attend the rescheduled date, a credit will be issued that may be used for any class of the same value, credits never expire. If a class is rescheduled because of low registration, under most circumstances, the rescheduled class date will go on as planned, even if the minimum number of registrants is not met. If a class is cancelled by Gio Culinary Studio with no alternate or rescheduled date, you will be offered a choice of a full refund or credit.
Class Menu: Gio Culinary Studio reserves the right to make changes to the class menu, ingredients and class format without notice.We are unable to accommodate for allergies or each individual students dietary preferences / restrictions during a class that is open to the public, there will be no menu item substitutions. A private cooking class may be arranged to accommodate diet restrictions.
We require a minimum number of students to set up a private class/event depending on the class subject or menu. Your date is not reserved until the requested minimum number of students/guests have registered and paid. Gio Culinary Studio reserves the right to "give away" the agreed upon date at anytime, if the minimum number of students have not registered. In the event another group requests your date and your group has not met the minimum number of registrations, you will be given notification and have the opportunity to either, pay the remaining balance in full to meet the minimum fee or attempt to have the remaining members of your group complete registration within 24 hours of our notification. Gio Culinary Studio reserves the right to cancel a private class/event due low registration or for any reason. In the rare case your private class/event is canceled by Gio Culinary Studio due to low registration or any other reason, you and or the individuals in your group will receive a full refund or credit in the amount of the registration fee.
Private Class/Event fees are NOT refundable unless the class/event is cancelled by Gio Culinary Studio, and meets the above criteria. If you and your group are unable to attend your private class or event on the scheduled/reserved date, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice of the cancellation. With proper notice, you will be given the option of rescheduling the class to a later date or receive a ONE TIME class credit for a future class. If the private class/event goes on as scheduled on the original date, and one or more members of your group are unable to attend, we will issue those members of your group a credit for a future class as providing we are given 24 hr notice that they will not be attending. No credit or refunds will be given to no-shows or last minute cancellations.
If you agree to a rescheduled date using your ONE TIME class credit and the rescheduled date is also cancelled by you, or members of your group are not able to make the date, the class/event fee will not be refunded or credited. One time Class Credits will not be reissued.
By using this web site to reserve your Culinary Excursion with Gio Culinary Studio, you agree to the terms set forth in the contracts and terms provided to you prior to your reservation. Your initial deposit is Non-Refundable. please refer to your signed contract for full terms and conditions.
In order to maintain a fun, informative and safe environment for all, we require all students and guests to abide by the following rules:
Gio Culinary Studio reserves the right to expel any student or guest at anytime for the following reasons or any other reason determined by the owners and employees of Gio Culinary Studio to warrant expulsion.

If you are expelled from the premises for any reason, you will not be entitled to a refund or credit and you will not be allowed back on premises at any time.

A generous sampling of everything made in class is provided. This is a cooking school however, not a restaurant. Though most people won't leave hungry, please don't expect to be served a full dinner. The fee is for the cooking lesson, not the food.
